Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with Americanapparel.com.au. We appreciate your business and want to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

21-Day Returns

You have 21 days from the date of purchase to return any item for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing items for reasons not due to our error, may not be eligible for a refund.

Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account on our website.
2. Go to the "Order History" section.
3. Locate the order containing the item you wish to return.
4. Select the item(s) you want to return and follow the instructions to generate a return request.
5. Once your return request is submitted, our customer support team will review and provide you with further instructions.

Return Shipping

If your return is due to an error on our part (e.g. incorrect or defective item received), the American Apparel Customer Support team will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Simply attach the label to your parcel and lodge it at your nearest Australia Post location.

Once your return has been received and inspected, you will receive an email confirmation notifying you of the outcome.

Instructions:

1. Pack the items you're returning.
2. Print your return label and attach it to the package. Cover or remove any old shipping labels.
3. Take the parcel to an Australia Post Location.
4. Track your return to make sure we get it.

Refund Process

Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed upon receipt of the items in the warehouse, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow a few business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

We do not offer or accept exchanges on products or orders.
