Meet the StAArt Up Fund Winners — Round Two Now Open
American Apparel® has always been about more than just clothes. We’re about culture. About creativity. About making things that matter.
That’s why we launched the StAArt Up Fund —an initiative designed to support Australia’s rising music talent . Backed by singer-songwriter Sam Fischer , it’s all about giving artists the tools, the spotlight, and a supportive community to help them grow.
The first round is done, and the winners are in:
From QLD, meet Paulina and Tom , a genre-mixing pop and beatboxing duo. From NSW, Thirst Trap , an indie-alternative rock band making waves, and Maina Doe , an alternative R&B singer known for her smooth vocals and magnetic sound. Each winner received $10,000 RRP worth of American Apparel® merch, printed with their own designs, to help build their brand, grow their community, and invest in their music.
But this is just the beginning.
Round Two of the StAArt Up Fund is now open—from 16 June to 10 August. This is your shot to get your work seen, heard, and supported by a brand that’s been championing originality since day one.
At American Apparel®, we back the O.G.s and the next wave. We believe in self-expression with substance, and we’re
here to help you turn your vision into something lasting.
