What is the AA tribe?

AA Tribe is not a campaign. It’s a community. A growing collective of individuals, artists, thinkers, workers, and creators who share something in common: a drive to express themselves, live with intention, and stay true to who they are. They're the O.G.s. Real people wearing American Apparel® the way it was meant to be worn — authentically, in their element, doing what they do best.

No sets. No scripts. Just everyday Australians making things happen.

We kicked things off in Queensland, meeting people who live and work in American Apparel® day in, day out. Take Josh, for example. He went from tiler to sandwich shop owner, running the kitchen at Burleigh’s MCs Sandwiches. His American Apparel® basics hold up to the heat — and the hustle. Or Maria, a designer from Currumbin, who layers her favourite American Apparel® hoodie with upcycled pieces she makes from scratch.

These are the stories we want to tell. And this is just the start.
